1. Registration and participation
By enrolling your child in FC Alpha, you agree to abide by the academy's rules and regulations. The child must be registered and the necessary forms, including health information, must be completed by a parent or guardian.
2. Payments
Payment for the program is strictly required at the beginning of each month, prior to the first training session of that month. Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of participation until fees are settled.
3. Training and matches
Parents are strictly prohibited from interfering with training sessions or matches. This includes coaching, providing instructions to children, or distracting the coaches. Our coaching staff is fully responsible for running training sessions.
Coaches reserve the exclusive right to select which children will participate in matches. Selections will be based on skill, attitude, and readiness as determined by the coaching team.
4. Parental conduct
Parents must not shout instructions, criticise, or address any child (other than their own) during training or matches. Positive encouragement is welcome, but all coaching and decisions must be left to the coaches.
5. Health and safety
Before training sessions or matches, it is the parent's responsibility to ensure that their child is adequately fed and hydrated.
If your child requires medication before training or matches (for example asthma inhalers or allergy medication), it is the parent's responsibility to administer it. The parent must also inform the coach of any relevant health conditions or medication requirements.
6. Cancellation and refunds
FC Alpha Academy operates rain or shine. In the case of extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, the academy will notify parents of cancellations. No refunds will be provided for missed training sessions or matches due to personal reasons.
7. Behaviour
Children and parents are expected to behave in a respectful and supportive manner at all times. Disrespect towards coaches, other children, or parents may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion from the academy.
8. Media consent
By enrolling your child in FC Alpha, you grant permission for photographs and videos of your child to be taken during training sessions and matches. These may be used for promotional purposes, including social media and marketing materials. If you do not consent, please inform the academy in writing.
9. Liability
FC Alpha Academy is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. However, by enrolling your child, you acknowledge that participation in football involves inherent risks, and you agree that the academy will not be held liable for any injury sustained during training or matches, except in cases of proven negligence.
