About FC Alpha

More than a club. A family.

The whole FC Alpha academy with its coaches on the pitch at Basildon Sporting Village

FC Alpha began at the end of 2019, when Vasile Roșca brought together a senior men's team in Essex. The side now plays in Essex League Division 1 and competes for the Fenton Trophy, the Division 1 Cup, the Essex County FA Cup and the Essex Junior Cup.

At the end of 2022 the club opened FC Alpha Academy for children. It has grown to more than fifty children aged 4 to 12, who train three times a week in Basildon and play in the Next Generation Super League.

What we stand for

Passion
We love the game and we want every child and every player to love it too.
Discipline and responsibility
Turning up, listening and looking after each other, on and off the pitch.
Respect and fair play
For team-mates, opponents, referees and parents, whatever the score.
Team spirit
One team, one dream. Nobody wins alone.
Continuous development
Every session should leave a player a little better than the last one.
